CRT Monitor condition designation - Grade B

Grade B used monitor - is the designation for a used monitor that is in "good working" condition and does not qualify as Grade A. Grade B monitors have 96 date codes and above.

- Monitor passed visual inspection/power-on test, meets customer request for additional testing and passes the additional resolution test.

- Monitor may be missing required equipment that is supplied for test. Example A/C adapter, video cable, etc.

- Monitor may have cosmetic and/or case damage.

- Monitor may have a minor degree of screen burn.

- Major scratches/nicks (more than an inch or more than one nick on the case).

- Monitor may be discolored. Uniform yellowing and/or discoloration (minor yellowing).

- Minor crack - Less than an inch and doesn't open and close to normal use. Doesn't affect the functionality and/or stability of the monitor. Not on the screen

- Monitor is most likely a dual voltage monitor (all above 98+ dates are dual volt).

- Monitor may be missing plastics: control panel cover, Base/Stand, etc.

The monitor may be missing plastics and the base. The monitor is checked for adequate screen brightness, contrast resolution, and color display, however these may not be as good as when the monitor was originally manufactured. However, some minor screen burn, dimness, loss of color, and blurriness may be noticeable but this will not detract from the overall  functionality of the monitor. There may be some scratches and stickers on the casing but not on the screen.
